The following information is about M-SDSL.

M-SDSL Defined

Multirate Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line. Builds on single pair SDSL technology. M-SDSL can automatically adjust the speed of the line. It supports eight distinct rates and permits data transmission speeds between 64 Kbps and 128 Kbps specifying loops up to 29,000 ft. at a wire thickness of 0.5mm (24 gauge) and stepping down to 15,000 ft at a full 2 Mbps rate. With an autorate ability (similar to R-ADSL), symmetric applications can now be universally deployed. M-SDSL uses Carrierless Amplitude Phase modulation (CAP) modulation.
